Meet Our Board

Tri - Town Shelter Services is fortunate to be overseen by a dedicated and compassionate board of directors.  The Board consists of a healthy mix of professionals from the private and public sectors, as well as community members who have complimentary backgrounds in the helping and service fields.

The Board consists of officers and members with no less than twelve people in total.  Each board member also serves on committees of their choosing.  Each of the following committees are made up of board members, one member of which also serves as the chair.

  • Finance Committee

  • Fund-Raising Committee

  • Information Technology Committee

  • Personnel Committee

  • Program Committee

  • Mentoring Committee

  • Publicity Committee

  • Building and Grounds Committee

The Board of Directors meet monthly 10 times a year.  They take a pro-active role in the operations of the Shelter and there are several opportunities throughout the year for them to interact with staff.

The Board of Directors ensure that Tri-Town Shelter Services operates according to the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards.  They also ensure that contributions made in good faith are administered according to acceptable accounting practices and effective stewardship.
