Tri-Town Shelter Services Provides a Computer Lab

Our clients have access to computers, giving them the opportunity to either acquire or sharpen their marketable skills. Each computer has the Microsoft Office suite installed, giving residents a competitive edge.

The in-house library has books, resources, and curriculum on topics covering Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. There are also workbooks with exercises for word processing and other software applications. 

The residents can sign up for periods of time at a computer and receive one-on-one support by staff. We also utilize volunteers from the community to provide instructional workshops on Windows, software applications, resume and cover letter writing.
